Where Horned Frogs buy and sell
TCU requires both first-years and sophomores to live on campus, so two full classes are furnishing rooms every August. Whether you're in Clark, Colby, Foster, Sherley, Waits, Moncrief, or Milton Daniel on central campus, in the newly added Hill and Walsh Halls, in the Campus Commons at King, Samuelson, or Carter, out in Worth Hills at Marion or P.E. Clark, or in upper-division apartments at Tom Brown/Pete Wright, Liberty Lofts, or Molly Reid, everything you need is already within a short walk. TCU students post mini fridges, futons, storage bins, desk lamps, monitors, bikes, and gently used textbooks every semester — usually for a fraction of retail. Students living off campus around Bluebonnet Circle use it too. Same rule applies: verified students only, and the person on the other end is someone you'd pass on the way to class.
The sophomore shuffle
Because sophomores are required to stay on campus but move out of first-year halls, TCU has a second turnover most schools don't: a whole class relocating from doubles in Clark or Colby into apartment-style living at Tom Brown/Pete Wright or Liberty Lofts. Room dimensions change, storage needs change, and a lot of furniture changes hands in May and August as a result.
Meeting up on campus
Handoffs happen at landmarks everybody already knows. The Brown-Lupton University Union, the Mary Couts Burnett Library, the University Recreation Center, and the Campus Commons by Frog Fountain are all easy meeting points between classes. TCU's campus is compact, so most handoffs take five minutes. No shipping labels, no delivery fees, no driving across Fort Worth to meet someone off Craigslist.
Textbooks without the bookstore markup
Course materials for business, nursing, engineering, and the sciences run into the hundreds of dollars a semester, and the same editions circulate through campus year after year. Buying from the Horned Frog who took the class last term beats the bookstore buyback spread on both ends — the seller gets more than the buyback price, and the buyer pays less than retail.

Does it cost anything?
No. Listing and browsing are free, and we don't take a cut — you handle payment directly with the other student, however you both prefer.
Where should I meet to hand something off?
Somewhere public and central. Brown-Lupton University Union and Mary Couts Burnett Library are the easiest — busy, well-lit, and everyone knows where they are.
