Buying & selling at Tarleton State

Campus details for Tarleton students.

Stephenville is small enough that everything worth buying or selling is already within a few blocks of campus — which makes handing something off to another student easy here.

Every account is verified with a Tarleton email, so you're always dealing with another Texan. No shipping labels, no meeting strangers across town.

Textbooks at the end of a semester, a futon someone's leaving behind, a mini fridge, a bike, tickets — if it changes hands on campus, it belongs here.

Help & FAQ

Common questions from Tarleton students.

Is this only for Tarleton students?

Each campus is its own marketplace. You'll only see listings from people who verified with a Tarleton email address, and they'll only see yours.

Does it cost anything?

No. Listing and browsing are free, and we don't take a cut — you handle payment directly with the other student, however you both prefer.

Where should I meet to hand something off?

Somewhere public and central. Thompson Student Center and Dick Smith Library are the easiest — busy, well-lit, and everyone knows where they are.

What if nobody's selling what I need?

Post it on the Looking For board. Other Tarleton students can see what's in demand, and you'll get notified when someone lists a match.
