College Marketplace is the student-only buy and sell app for University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Every account is verified with a @u.pacific.edu email address, so you're only ever trading with other Tigers — not strangers from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.

First-year Tigers land in Grace Covell Hall, the largest residence hall on the Stockton campus, or in the ten small houses of the Quads: Carter House, Casa Jackson, Casa Werner, Eiselen House, Farley House, Jessie Ballantyne, John Ballantyne, Price House, Ritter House and Wymess House. Second-years move into the rebuilt Southwest Hall, open for fall 2026 with 386 beds behind a preserved historic exterior. Juniors and seniors spread into apartment-style housing — Calaveras Hall, the four-bedroom suites in Chan Family Hall and Monagan Hall, the three-bedroom McCaffrey Center Apartments and the two-story University Townhouse Apartments — while veteran and military-affiliated students have Manor Hall. Housing is guaranteed for first- and second-year students, and everything you need is already on campus. Pacific students post mini fridges, futons, storage bins, desk lamps, monitors, bikes and gently used textbooks every semester, usually for a fraction of retail.

Buy Twin XL sheets. Every bed is a 36-by-80 Twin XL on a frame that adjusts between one and three feet. Rooms come with the bed, a wardrobe or closet, a dresser, a desk with drawers and a desk chair; bedding and a mattress topper are yours to bring. In the residence halls, microwaves have to be 900 watts or less and refrigerators no bigger than 3.2 cubic feet, which is why compact fridges turn over fast in May. Apartments are a different story: Chan Family and Monagan include a three-quarter-size refrigerator, a stove and a kitchen table or counter, and Calaveras Hall has a built-in microwave, so apartment residents mostly shop for pots, pans and dishes. Hot plates, space heaters, candles, incense, halogen and lava lamps and large string lights are banned, and toasters or exposed-element coffee pots are only allowed in apartment kitchens. Everyone living on campus is also on a meal plan.

Meet where campus is busy. The DeRosa University Center is the default handoff spot, with The Marketplace downstairs and The Lair upstairs. William Knox Holt Memorial Library works for anything quick between classes, the McCaffrey Center is central to the apartments, Baun Fitness Center is easy to find, and Burns Tower is the landmark nobody can miss. No shipping labels, no delivery fees, no meeting someone off campus.
