College Marketplace is the student-only buy and sell app for Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. Every account is verified with a @nau.edu email address, so you're only ever trading with other Lumberjacks — not strangers from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.

Most first- and second-year Jacks land in the traditional halls — Allen Hall, Campbell Hall, Cowden Hall, McConnell Hall, Morton Hall, Reilly Hall, Sechrist Hall, Taylor Hall, Tinsley Hall, and Wilson Hall — or in the suite-style communities Calderón Hall, Gabaldon Hall, and Mountain View Hall. Students in the Honors College community live together in their own building; Honors freshmen who apply for campus housing are required to live there. Juniors, seniors, and graduate students spread out into the apartment communities: Raymond Hall, McKay Village Apartments, Gillenwater Apartments, Campus Heights Apartments, McDonald Apartments, Pine Ridge Village Apartments, and South Village Apartments. Whether you're on North, Central, or South Campus, everything you need is already a short walk away. Northern Arizona students post storage bins, desk lamps, monitors, bikes, snow gear, and gently used textbooks every semester — usually for a fraction of retail.

Check the rules before you buy anything. Beds take Twin XL sheets: mattresses measure 36" x 80" x 7". Rooms arrive furnished with a desk and chair, a dresser, built-in closet space, and a small refrigerator with a freezer (3.9 cu ft in Gabaldon Hall), plus wired ethernet and Wi-Fi — so a second fridge is both a wasted purchase and prohibited. Campus Living bans lofts and cinder blocks outright, so skip the loft kit entirely. Countertop microwaves are capped at 700 watts. Air conditioners are on the do-not-bring list, as are futons, sofas, extra chairs, space heaters, halogen lamps and bulbs, toaster ovens, hot plates, and personal wireless routers.

When it's time to hand something off, pick somewhere busy and central. The University Union is the obvious default, and Cline Library, the John Haeger Health and Learning Center, du Bois South Union, and North Union all work just as well — daylight, foot traffic, and card-access buildings you already visit. No shipping labels, no delivery fees, no meeting someone off campus.

Timing matters too. Campus Living communities open for fall move-in August 19–24, 2026, and close for the year on May 7, 2027 — those two windows are when listings move fastest, so post early and check often.
