College Marketplace is the student-only buy and sell app for High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. Every account is verified with a @highpoint.edu email address, so you're only ever trading with other Panthers — not strangers from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.
Most first-year Panthers land in Belk Hall, Blessing, Finch Hall, McEwen, Millis Hall, North Hall, Wesley Hall, or Yadkin Hall, with the suite-style RG Wanek Center, University Center II, and Panther Commons rounding out the freshman options. Upperclass students spread across Aldridge Village 1 & 2, York Hall, Caffey Hall, Centennial Square 1 & 2, Wilson, Greek Village, and the apartment, townhome and house communities — Point Place, McCain Place Townhomes, North College Court, North College Terrace, North College Townhomes, University Village, University Owned Houses, and the University Landing Tiny Homes. With that much housing packed onto one campus, everything you need is already a short walk away. High Point students post mini fridges, futons, storage bins, desk lamps, monitors, bikes, and gently used textbooks every semester — usually for a fraction of retail.
Know your building before you buy. Traditional hall rooms come with twin mattresses at an 8-inch depth, while singles and apartment bedrooms in buildings like Panther Commons, RG Wanek Center, and University Center II use full-size beds — worth checking before someone hands you a sheet set or a mattress topper. Beds in Millis Hall, Yadkin Hall, and Wilson are bunkable and loft from roughly three inches up to the low thirties, but Blessing does not support bed risers. HPU furnishes desks and chairs, dressers, closets or armoires, and underbed drawers, and residential buildings run central heating and cooling with complimentary laundry, internet, and cable. Suite and apartment communities already include a full-size refrigerator and a microwave, so shop for storage, seating, and lighting rather than appliances.
When it is time to hand something off, meet somewhere busy and central: the R.G. Wanek Center, The Point, the Slane Student Center, Qubein Arena, or right outside Panther Commons. No shipping labels, no delivery fees, no meeting someone off campus.

How do I pay the other student?
You arrange payment directly with each other — cash, Venmo, Zelle, whatever you both agree on. No money runs through the app, and there are no transaction fees.
Where should I meet to buy or sell on High Point's campus?
Stick to busy, well-lit public spots — the student union, the main library, the rec center, and the dining halls are all easy meeting points between classes. Agree on a specific building before you head over, and meet during daylight hours.
