College Marketplace is the student-only buy and sell app for California State University, Fullerton in Fullerton, California. Every account is verified with a @csu.fullerton.edu email address, so you're only ever trading with other Titans, not strangers from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.

CSUF housing splits into four communities. First-time first-year students live in the residence halls, Elm, Fig, Holly, Juniper and Pine, where double and triple rooms cluster around community bathrooms shared by eight residents. The Suites, Laurel, Noble and Redwood, put eight students in four double bedrooms with two bathrooms and a small kitchenette. Returning, transfer and graduate students move into the apartments: Acacia, Birch, Manzanita, Oak and Willow for single bedrooms with a full kitchen, plus Jewel Plummer Cobb Hall, the six-story double-occupancy building that opened for fall 2026 move-in beside the Arboretum. Whichever building you land in, everything you need is already on campus. CSUF students post mini fridges, futons, storage bins, desk lamps, monitors, bikes and gently used textbooks every semester, usually for a fraction of retail.

Check the rules before you buy. Every bed on campus is a twin XL, so grab bedding in that size and nothing else. Rooms come with a bed with storage drawers, a closet and a desk; triples add a wardrobe and a bed ladder. Lofting is prohibited, so loft kits and risers are a waste of money here. Every community is air conditioned on a fixed setpoint, 74 degrees for cooling in the first-year halls and apartments and 75 in the Suites, so portable AC units, space heaters and humidifiers are all banned. Only one refrigerator is permitted per room in the halls and Suites, full-size fridges are prohibited everywhere, and the only microwave allowed in a hall room is the one built into a MicroFridge unit. Toasters, rice cookers and air fryers belong in an apartment or suite kitchen, not a hall room.

Meet up somewhere busy and central: the Titan Student Union, Pollak Library, the Student Recreation Center, the Gastronome at dinner rush or the Fullerton Arboretum side of campus near Cobb Hall. No shipping labels, no delivery fees, no meeting someone off campus.

The marketplace peaks around official fall move-in, Saturday, August 22, 2026, when buildings arrive on staggered times between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and half of campus is hunting for a fridge, a fan and a rug at once.
