College Marketplace is the student-only buy and sell app for Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Every account is verified with a @bryant.edu email address, so you're only ever trading with other Bulldogs — not strangers from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.

First-year Bulldogs land in the First-Year Village: Barrington House, Bristol House, and Warren House, which also host the Women's Leadership Living and Learning Community and the Honors Lounge. Sophomores and juniors move over to Suite Village, the cluster of brick houses that includes Charlestown House, Coventry House, Cumberland House, Exeter House, Hopkinton House, Jamestown House, Kilcup House, Lincoln House, Newport House, Providence House, Richmond House, Scituate House, Tiverton House, and Westerly House. Seniors take the Townhouses or the apartment-style Puishys Residence Complex, which opened for the 2025-26 year with four- and six-bedroom units. Bryant does not require first-year students to live on campus, but about 85 percent of undergraduates do and housing is offered all four years, which means everything you need is already on campus. Bryant students post mini fridges, futons, storage bins, desk lamps, monitors, bikes, and gently used textbooks every semester, usually for a fraction of retail.

Rooms come furnished with a twin XL bed, a desk and chair, a bureau, and a closet or wardrobe, so twin XL sheets are the most-traded item of move-in week. Skip the loft kit: Bryant requires all beds to stay on the floor without modifications, only Campus Management staff can bunk beds, and cinder blocks are banned outright. Refrigerators cap at 5.0 cubic feet, one per assigned resident, and tandem MicroFridge units are allowed everywhere while standard microwaves are permitted only in the townhouses. Keurigs must be single-cup models; halogen lamps, toasters, toaster ovens, and hot plates are all prohibited. Air conditioning is standard in the first-year houses. Every non-townhouse resident also carries a meal plan of at least the 105 block, so storage and desk setup matter more than cookware.

Meet up somewhere busy and well lit. The Fisher Student Center, the Douglas & Judith Krupp Library, the Chace Wellness Center, Salmanson Dining Hall, and the Quinlan/Brown Academic Innovation Center all work. No shipping labels, no delivery fees, no meeting someone off campus.
