College Marketplace is the student-only buy and sell app for Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Every account is verified with a @baylor.edu email address, so you're only ever trading with other Bears — not strangers from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.
Baylor's campus is dense and walkable, and most students live within a few blocks of it — so a handoff is usually just "I'll be at Fountain Mall at 3." Whether you're in Penland, Martin, Collins or Memorial, in North Russell or South Russell, in Brooks Residential College or Brooks Flats, in Teal Residential College, or setting up in Alexander, Earle, Dawson, Kokernot or Allen, everything you need is already on campus. Baylor students post mini fridges, futons, storage bins, desk lamps, monitors, bikes, and gently used textbooks every semester — usually for a fraction of retail.
Meet in the open and it takes five minutes: the Bill Daniel Student Center, the lobby of Moody Memorial Library, Fountain Mall, or the McLane Student Life Center between classes. No shipping labels, no delivery fees, no meeting someone off campus.
Know the specs before you buy. Residence hall mattresses are extra-long twin, on frames adjustable to roughly 52 inches. Refrigerators must be approved MicroFridge units drawing no more than 1.5 amps and standing no more than 36 inches tall, and microwaves are only permitted in apartments with kitchens or as part of an approved MicroFridge. Bed risers, extension cords, multi-plug outlet covers, halogen lamps, security cameras, e-scooters, space heaters, hot plates, toaster ovens, deep fryers and candles with their wicks intact are all prohibited. Students classified as freshmen are required to live on campus unless Campus Living & Learning grants an exemption.

Each campus is its own marketplace. You'll only see listings from people who verified with a Baylor email address, and they'll only see yours.
Does it cost anything?

Where should I meet to hand something off?
Somewhere public and central. Bill Daniel Student Center and Moody Memorial Library are the easiest — busy, well-lit, and everyone knows where they are.
What if nobody's selling what I need?
Post it on the Looking For board. Other Baylor students can see what's in demand, and you'll get notified when someone lists a match.
