Where Tigers buy and sell
Auburn's 22 residence halls sit in eight residential communities. Whether you're on the Hill or the Quad in suite-style halls like Broun, Dowdell, Glenn, Harper, Little, Lupton, Sasnett, or Teague, in the Village at Aubie, Matthews, Oak, Talon, or Magnolia, in Concourse Hall, or in apartment-style living at South Donahue, everything you need is already on campus. Auburn students post mini fridges, futons, storage bins, desk lamps, monitors, bikes, and gently used textbooks every semester — usually for a fraction of retail. Returning residents at 160 Ross, 191 College, and The Union, and students living off campus around downtown Auburn, use it too. Same rule applies: verified students only, and the person on the other end is someone you'd pass on the way to class.
Meeting up on campus
Handoffs happen at landmarks everybody already knows. The Melton Student Center, the Ralph Brown Draughon Library, and the Recreation and Wellness Center are all easy meeting points between classes, and campus is walkable enough that most handoffs take five minutes. No shipping labels, no delivery fees, no driving across Auburn to meet someone off Craigslist.
Textbooks without the bookstore markup
Course materials for engineering, business, and the sciences run into the hundreds of dollars a semester, and the same editions circulate through campus year after year.
