Where Razorbacks buy and sell
Freshmen under 21 are required to live on campus at Arkansas, so a full class furnishes rooms from scratch every August. Whether you're in Pomfret, Yocum, Humphreys, Futrall, Gibson, Gregson, Holcombe, or Reid, in the Maple Hill neighborhood at East, South, or West, in the Northwest Quad at Clark, Gatewood, Harding, or Morgan, or in Adohi, Founders, Walton, or the Hotz Honors Hall, everything you need is already on campus. Arkansas students post mini fridges, futons, storage bins, desk lamps, monitors, bikes, and gently used textbooks every semester — usually for a fraction of retail. Students living off campus around Dickson Street use it too. Same rule applies: verified students only, and the person on the other end is someone you'd pass on the way to class.
Meeting up on campus
Handoffs happen at landmarks everybody already knows. The Arkansas Union, Mullins Library, and the HPER Building are all easy meeting points between classes. No shipping labels, no delivery fees, no driving across Fayetteville to meet someone off Craigslist.
Textbooks without the bookstore markup
Course materials for engineering, business, and the sciences run into the hundreds of dollars a semester, and the same editions circulate through campus year after year.
