College Marketplace is the student-only buy and sell app for Alabama A&M University in Normal, Alabama. Every account is verified with a @aamu.edu email address, so you're only ever trading with other Bulldogs — not strangers from Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.
Whether you're moving into Hopkins Hall or Palmer Hall as a freshman, living in the Foster or Knight Living and Learning Complex, settling into the Hugine Complex, or setting up an apartment at Normal Hills, everything you need is already on campus. AAMU students post mini fridges, futons, storage bins, desk lamps, monitors, bikes, and gently used textbooks every semester — usually for a fraction of retail.
Most handoffs take five minutes between classes — no shipping labels, no delivery fees, no meeting someone off campus.
Know the specs before you buy. Residence hall beds take extra-long twin sheets and Normal Hills apartments take full-size, which is the most common move-in mistake here. Refrigerators are tightly limited: residents of Hopkins, Palmer, Stephens, Terry, Thigpen and Council Halls may only bring a 1.7 cubic foot unit. Microwaves are not allowed in the residence halls at all, with the exception of Foster Complex, Knight Complex, the Hugine Living Learning Complex and Normal Hills Apartments, so check your building before you buy one secondhand. Space heaters, air conditioners and pets are prohibited. Freshmen and sophomores are encouraged, not required, to live on campus for the full academic year.
